On Oct.6,2022,a new helipad project has been built and constructed well in Malacañang, Philippines.This project is named Malacañang Helipad,which there is a large area with a special symbol in the center for helicopter landing and against the backdrop of evening clouds.
Before design this project,the most important thing is to consider how to prevent water from coming to the lights when there is rainy season.The client told us this issue. So when we recommend them some suitable lights and draw the wiring diagram of light and controller,we will focus on this issue.Finally,according to our recommendation,the client chose to use heliport SAGA system(the system of Azimuth Guidance for Approach),CHAPI system(the airport or heliport precision approach path indicator system) and outdoor control panel for all lights.
In order to making all lights worked well,we design mini controller box to cover the mini CCR to prevent the water when it’s rainy.And at the same time,design the higher mounting bracket to fix the control panel and its protection level is up to IP65.The customer praised highly to our products and service and saying:Hoping to work with your team again in the future.
Specially mentioned that this project is applied CDT Heliport System of Approach Guidance Azimuth(shorted as SAGA system),Item No.:CM-HT12/SAGA.Which provides a combined signal of approach azimuth guidance and threshold identification.Widely used to the airport runway area and helipad TLOF area.
The system of azimuth guidance for approach will comply with ICAO recommendations annex 14,volume I,paragraph 5.3.4 and French STAC. It will comprise of 2”Flashing” units(Master and Slave) located symmetrically on both sides of the runway or TLOF for heliport threshold.
